In partnership with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
Organization, Qualcomm's LatinQ employee network would like to invite you to attend the 2nd annual Hack Juntos event. Spend the day at Qualcomm’s headquarters pushing the boundaries of today’s technology, hacking in teams of up to 4.  You can make anything you want (there are some cool categories though).  We'll provide you with everything including access to some sweet technology, food, caffeine, and nice prizes!  Students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering are highly encouraged to apply!
"Prior to HackJuntos, I thought hackathons were intimidating since I had never been to one. HackJuntos made me realize that hackathons are learning experiences and I have attended 3 additional hackathons ever since. These hackathons have made my interest for software grow and influenced me to pursue a minor in Computer Science."
Carolina came to Hack Juntos in 2016 and spent the summer this year as an intern with Qualcomm's Modem UIM team. Â
"Before Hack Juntos, interning at Qualcomm was nothing but a dream. One of the great things about this program is that it provides an opportunity to network with recruiters and professionals that work at Qualcomm. Not only did I get the satisfaction of finishing a hackathon and building something cool, but once it came time to apply, I was more confident in myself because of the connections I had made. Interning at Qualcomm had become a reality."
Gerardo came to Hack Juntos in 2016 and spent the summer this year as an intern with Qualcomm's Modem 5G/LTE team.Â
"Hack Juntos was not only an opportunity to bring our ideas and dreams into a working prototype, but it was also a great networking experience. It was at Hack Juntos that I met again with one of the Qualcomm recruiters and one of the first steps to land an internship this year. Hack Juntos is an opportunity you cannot miss. Don’t hesitate, hop on, and have fun!"
